In such a devastating time in our nation we are hoping to provide some form of help to those in need. Our first resource to share is prayer to our Heavenly Father.
Dear Lord our God,
We give you honor and praise for your presence, sensitivity, love, righteousness and patience. We recognize this circumstance, amongst others, is something we cannot conquer alone in our human strength. This pain and despair is bigger than we can imagine and only something you can step in on. We approach you humbly at your throne of grace to acknowledge you and how powerful you truly are, we ask for mercy. You're greater than all the earth, we are grateful for what we do have but right now we intercede on behalf of others to ask for your hand on the fires and lives in Los Angeles, California. Hear us, as we cry out to you to ask you to step in. Employ your angels to guide us through with hope, love, our resources, our knowledge and expertise in more ways than one. Bring us peace that surpasses all understanding so that we may think clearly in the calamity to steward the gifts you have blessed us with to help one another. We pray, not ours, but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
